One of our favourite workshops at The Make Lounge is our Soya Teacup Candle class, where students create their own blend of essential oils then create a gorgeous, long-lasting candle made from eco-friendly soya wax.
We've been running this class since shortly after The Make Lounge opened its doors in 2007 and it's always a popular one. (What's not to love? Vintage china, plus something you can enjoy in these dark days of winter - then wash the container out and use it for a steaming cuppa!)
There's also something to be said about admiring a lovely item in a charming boutique or shop - such as a delicate candle - then learning to make one yourself. Pure joy.
